“Safe Roads, Strong Republic”

On the occasion of Republic Day, Navechha Foundation launches a month-long Road Safety Pledge Campaign from 26 January to 26 February, aimed at promoting responsible road behaviour and protecting human life.

Road safety is not just a rule — it is a citizen’s duty. Through this campaign, we encourage citizens to adopt simple but life-saving practices such as wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding drunk driving, and respecting traffic rules.

The campaign will include short awareness interactions, a public Road Safety Pledge, and distribution of reflective safety stickers at colleges, market areas, and safe public locations. The focus is on awareness, habit-building, and community participation, especially among youth and daily commuters.

By taking this pledge, citizens reaffirm their commitment to protect their own lives and the lives of others, strengthening the spirit of the Republic through responsible action.

Let us move beyond celebration and practice our constitutional duty every day.
